4th Journal!!!!!
Topic: How embarrassing!
I was leaving for school, and my mom was making me walk! It was raining and it was muddy, and it smelled like worms. I was so grossed out. I was happy when I could see down the road that my school was there. I heard a loud noise and looked to see one of the buses coming by. I realized I was right in the middle of the street, and so I ran out of the way. But with the slippery road, I fell, and the road became like a slip and slide! I was on my stomach, sliding down the road like superman. The bus was inching closer. I quick got up and saw a bunch of people laughing at me through the windows. Everybody on the bus saw me fall. The bus was way ahead of me now, so I looked down at my soaking wet clothes. There were little stones from the road stuck on them. And I could feel them through my wet shirt. I walked to school and everybody who was on that bus spread it around that I totally fell out on the street. They were laughing and saying weird jokes about me. It was bad enough that I slipped in front of a bus load full of people, but now I was getting laughed at. All the little stones were still on me, and I was trying to get them off. But then that just made people crowd around me more, saying weird stuff.

Third Journal!!!
It was after school and I realized something I needed for teaching tomorrow was in the basement of the school. I walked around the big school going to the doorway to the basement, and I actually wasn’t worried at all. I opened the door and walked down the steps. There were a lot of things down there and I never thought I would be able to find what I needed. So I just started from one end of the room. But every time I turn my back on something, I get a creepy feeling. Like somebody is behind me or something. I felt so weird. I just kept digging around, because I knew it was just the basement at school. But there had to be a million boxes, and I thought I should just give up. I turned around and I felt something on the back of me. I turned around and there was nothing. But I knew that I wasn’t the only one down there. Creep! Creep! I looked behind me, and saw nothing. I looked around, but no one was there. I breathed so heavy, but I kept looking. There’s nothing there, nothing at all. Creep! Creep! I jumped and looked around. I let out a little nervous giggle, and went back to looking. “Where is it?” I said to myself. That’s when I realized it. Besides the creeps, it was way too quiet. In a freaky way though. Like somebody was trying to not make even a sound. The machines were silent. I just went faster, digging through the boxes that didn’t have a thing I needed. Then there was this sound like somebody…falling on top of a box? Somebody was down here. I turned in all directions wondering where I should go, but then I felt something on me….

Second Journal!!!
It was 5:00 in the morning and I turned on my radio. My favorite song came on, so I turned it up really loud. I heard my family and people outside screaming about something, so I turned it up even louder to drown them out. But then the screaming got louder. If everyone was awake, it’s not like it could be the loud music. It was the morning. People were up. I knew they were because I could hear their screams. It was so annoying so I turned up as loud as it could go. I could only hear the music, none of the other annoying sounds people were making. Then I heard a bang. I went over to my window, and there was an egg. People were egging my window! What have I EVER done to them? I was just listening to music. How bad could it be? It was 5:15 now. It’s been on for at least 15 minutes now. They should all be used to it. But I guess they weren’t. They were all old people anyway. That’s probably why they didn’t like it. It was too loud for their old ears to handle. But I couldn’t crank it any louder than I had it. Then I couldn’t see out my window because of all the eggs on it. So I quick ran downstairs and ducked down really low. I peeked out of a window, and saw everyone in my neighborhood standing there. I opened the door and came outside. They all came running towards me. There was a mob of them! I ran inside and locked my door. I needed to go somewhere where nobody could see me. I ran downstairs in the basement and squeezed under the stairs by the boxes. I heard people come down the steps.
My journal!!!
It was the day before Halloween, and I was carving my pumpkin. It was a stormy night, with black clouds and a gray sky. I was hearing noises all day. I was digging the cold and slimy pumpkin goo out of the pumpkin when I felt everything in the pumpkin move. I started to dig again, and this time my hand was fully in the pumpkin, and there was something about it that seemed different. But what was it? I felt the pumpkin twitch again, faster this time. I felt all around my pumpkin. I didn’t know what it was, but I knew I had to find it. I felt something. Like fur, but I wasn’t sure because of all the pumpkin seeds and all the other junk in pumpkins covered in it. I pulled it out and it twitched in my hand. I screamed, and whatever I had in my hand could now be anywhere in the house. I couldn’t tell anyone, because of all the trouble I could be in. I saw that the newspaper was moving, so I went to lift it up. I made sure I was the only one around and……..it was a chipmunk.
